Coeur Mining, Inc. is the largest U.S.-based primary silver producer and a growing gold producer. The Company has five precious metals mines in the Americas generating strong production, sales, and cash flow.

Coeur Rochester, a subsidiary of Coeur Mining Inc. based near Lovelock, Nevada, is seeking a Process Utility Crew Laborer to join our team at the Rochester Mine. The Utility crew is a flexible work group that handles a myriad of matters including the following:

  • Care and maintenance of all facilities onsite.
  • Road and drainage maintenance.
  • Pond and liner inspections or repairs.
  • Concrete pours and structural fabrications.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of freshwater wells.
  • Environmental compliance checks and repairs.
  • Various maintenance tasks on process and mobile equipment.
  • Welding and assembling both steel and HDPE piping.
  • Project work involving dig permits.
  • Snow removal.
  • Wash bay maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Must be a capable and safe equipment operator.
  • Willing and able to work with and support all departments at the mine site.
  • Must have the ability to work under all weather conditions.
  • Must have the ability to safely navigate uneven terrain.
  • Must have the ability to safely and efficiently work around various electrical and water utilities, overhead and electrical lines and congested areas.
  • Needs to display the ability to methodically plan out complex jobs to execute tasks safely and on schedule.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Must be able to wear and complete job tasks using all required PPE.
  • Must follow and support all federal, state, and company policies.

Recommended:

  • Nevada CDL vehicle operator’s license.
  • 2 or more years of mining experience.
  • Experienced mobile equipment operator.
  • MSHA Certification.
