Nutrition Assistant-Per Diem

The Aroostook Agency on Aging Nutrition Services is looking for a per diem(as needed) employee to fill in at the Madawaska Dining Center when staff call out or are on vacation. This position is on an as needed basis. Depending on the need, the employee may be assisting in the kitchen in varies capacities, delivering meals, accepting vendor deliveries and/or helping with frozen meal inventory. Successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team, be Serve Safe Certified within 6 months of hire, work independently, possess effective communication skills and customer service skills, and be able to follow written procedures. Training will be provided for this position. One year of food prep experience preferred and High School diploma or the equivalent required. Must pass a pre-employment physical.
