• Minimum Guaranteed Wage of $16/hour: At the end of the pay period, if your base wage ($12.50/hour + $2/hour additional for any time after 10pm) and tips have not averaged to at least $16/hour, we will pay the rest. You are guaranteed to earn at least $16/hour minimum, but you certainly can make more than that! A cook typically averages $16-$20/hour, but can earn up to $25/hour on a busy shift. Tips are paid at the end of each shift, and all other wages are paid on your paycheck (biweekly).

Cook Job Duties and Expectations

You're going to cook A LOT of pizzas. You'll hand-stretch dough, work the ovens, and top and finish pizzas. Occasionally a cook helps with prep or Front of House (FOH) as needed, but for the most part, the job is making pizzas and helping with stocking, cleaning, and opening/closing tasks. You'll be working with a great team, and so you'll be well supported, even in our busiest moments. And the tips will have you "rolling in the dough"!

Cook Job Requirements

• Be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• Be able to bend, crouch, and lift 20-50 lbs.
• Be able to use ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business.
• Must be 18+ to apply. If you are 16 or 17 years old, you can apply for the Front of House at our Garver location (3241 Garver Green), and all other positions/locations require you to be 18+ years of age.

Cook Scheduling

9-5 is a Dolly Parton song, not a job at Ian's! Opening shifts typically start 1-2 hours before opening time, and closing shifts typically end 1-2 hours after closing time. Most people work a mix of shifts (open, mids, dinner, closing). Schedules at State St are posted for 1 month at a time.

State (100 State St) current hours are Sunday-Tuesday 11am-10pm, Wednesday-Thursday 11am-2am, and Friday-Saturday 11am-2:30am.

Our restaurants are most busy on evenings and weekends! If you are applying for our State Street or Frances Street locations, availability for at least 1 weekend shift and at least 1 late night shift (10pm-4am) is required. If you are applying for our Garver location, availability for at least 1 weekend shift is required.

Part-time (anything less than 30 hours a week) or full-time (30-40 hours a week) hours are available. Work-life balance is important to us, so our flexible scheduling allows you to work around your other commitments.
