Job Title: Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead)
Job Type: Full-time
Job Description: The Inspector Team Assist (Team Lead) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient completion of projects in our automotive manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to travel and flexibility with shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Support and ensure projects are completed according to work instructions in an efficient manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of data feeding into I-Charts, Daily Summary, Time Keeping, and Packets produced.
- Inspect parts as required per work instructions.
- Ensure inspectors are equipped with appropriate PPE as per work location and job requirements.
- Verify and ensure correctness of paperwork completion.
- Accurately input time and inspection/rework information into MIS in a timely manner.
- Ensure minimum Customer Demand rates are achieved.
- Communicate job-specific activities/results with customers as required and directed by the supervisor.
- Support Project Coordinator-related tasks as requested.
- Train inspectors on proper time/data completion.
Requirements:
- Previous leadership experience is a must.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License.
- Knowledge and understanding of all jobs being performed.
- Comfortable in a factory or warehouse setting.
- Strong organizational and math skills.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email.
- Ability to read and understand technical and non-technical documents related to data recording, including interfacing with both technical and non-technical personnel.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods (80% of the time).
- Flexibility in shifts and willingness to travel within the area.
