Job Title: GMP Material and Warehouse Associate

Position Type: 12-month contract to hire

Location: Rockville, Maryland

Salary Range / Rate (Currency): $20-30/hr

Job Summary (Responsibilities and Requirements):

The Material and Warehouse Associate will join the Supply Chain team to support warehouse and GMP operations. The Material and Warehouse Associate will follow established procedures to receive raw material inventory, pick and prepare components for manufacturing, and ship products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day assignments of warehouse job tasks and monitor the completion of required activities
  • Receive incoming shipments of non-GMP/GMP materials and equipment following established procedures
  • Assist Quality Assurance in release and approval of material for manufacturing
  • Dispense and kit GMP materials to support production operations
  • Prepare and deliver raw materials, samples, finished product, etc. to various departments as needed ensuring proper procedure and temperature range are followed
  • Maintain accurate inventory of GMP warehouse materials
  • Support procurement activities
  • Perform inventory cycle counts
  • Perform accurate ERP transactions
  • Cross-train in all areas of the warehouse operations
  • Pick, pack, and ship finished products, materials, and equipment as required per established policies and procedures
  • Ensure individual employee training is up to date
  • Adhere to safety procedures and GMP requirements
  • Keep warehouse operation clean and inspection ready
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or associates degree
  • Ability to lift over 30 lbs
  • Ability to gown aseptically for supporting work in a cleanroom environment
  • Prior experience in supply chain or warehouse preferred
