We are currently seeking a Principal Data Platform Architect to lead the development of our high-performance data platform. This role is crucial for enhancing our data capabilities across analytics, integration, storage, ML/AI models, data observability, and product cataloging. If you're passionate about creating robust, cost-efficient, and user-friendly data solutions, we want you on our team.

• Develop a comprehensive data platform architecture, supporting the concepts of data products and services that enable our domain-specific needs while ensuring organizational cohesion.

• Collaborate with data platform teams, enterprise architecture community, and domain-specific teams to align data strategies and ensure smooth integration and interoperability across systems and services.

• Design data solutions with a focus on cost efficiency and ease of use, making our data platform accessible and beneficial to a wide range of user groups.

• Lead the development of our Data Observability framework, ensuring that data assets, services, and products are easily discoverable and meet the needs of different stakeholders.

• Investigate and incorporate cutting-edge data services and technologies to boost the functionality and efficiency of our data platform, in line with our strategic objectives.

• Maintain high standards of data governance and quality, ensuring the integrity, security, and compliance of our data across all initiatives.

• Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing, promoting best practices in data management and encouraging cross-team collaboration.

• Proven experience in data platform architecture, ideally with a background in areas such as data analytics, integration, storage, and ML/AI models.

• Strong ability to work collaboratively with various teams to align data strategies and solutions.
• Demonstrated track record of designing user-friendly, cost-effective data solutions.
• Deep understanding of data observability principles and the ability to develop strategies that enhance data accessibility and utility.
• Commitment to upholding strict data governance and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to promote a learning and sharing environment.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in working with architecting data solutions supporting business processes in the tier 1 automotive or OEM industry.
