Job Function:

• MORI Associates is seeking an experienced Business Development and Capture professional to support our strategic and growth market initiatives.
• This position will assist in the entire BD/Capture/Proposal process and learn how to lead both Prime and Subcontract captures and proposal responses.
• Contribute to tasks associated with BD and Capture such as Requests for Information, data calls, teaming deliberations, capability gap analyses, probability of win and price-to-win deliberations, gate reviews, color team reviews, etc.

• The position will report to C-Level management and play an integral role in executing MORI’s strategic growth initiatives.

• Assist with creating a competitive advantage by differentiating MORI in the market.
• Generate related white papers and PowerPoint briefings as required or directed.

Experience:

• 7+ years’ experience with pipeline development, pursuit identification and the Federal Procurement Capture process is a prerequisite.
• Track record of prime single award, IDIQ or subcontract wins
• Experience with the entire BD and Capture process lifecycle.
• Desired expertise in Engineering, R&D, Science, and Information Technology domains
• Successful at leveraging research, analytics, and industry insights to create strategic and tactical value.
• Research and analysis expertise specializing in the federal market identifying areas of new spending.
• Experience developing and maintaining strong opportunity pipelines.
• Strong skills working with both internal and external proposal resources.
• Solid phase-in and program management experience desired
• Must be willing to travel approximately 30 percent of the time.

Technical Proficiency:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and GovWin IQ as well as publicly available Government tools such as: System for Award Management (SAM), GSA E-library, USASpending.gov, Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps)

Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
