Goals and Objectives

To provide exceptional experiences and memories for members, guests, and prospects during their visits.

Responsibilities

• Greet members upon arrival and departure at the valet stand.
• Communicate with departments as needed regarding members transitioning through the property.
• Be fully informed of all club activities and services and promote them accordingly to all prospects, members, and guests.
• Assist in the creation and continual building of the member special needs file, highlighting their specific needs, interests, and history.
• Ensure daily set-up of entire golf operation which includes but is not limited to: range, golf course, cart staging area, valet, tennis, and pickleball.
• Restock golf carts with beverages, towels, and any other amenities as needed throughout the day.
• Ensure an adequate number of carts are staged in the valet area at all times.
• Maintain clean shuttles, club carts, and personal golf carts as needed.
• Clean member's golf clubs before/after the round, and also before putting the clubs in storage.
• Responsible for rental club fleet including signing in and out of rental sets, cleaning, maintaining inventory, and communicating any missing inventory.
• Breakdown of the range equipment and amenities on a nightly basis to include washing golf balls, and restocking buckets for the next morning.
• Assist in the monitoring of all practice facilities including picking the range, cleaning golf balls, filling divots, demo club inventory, retrieving balls from sides of the range, and monitoring range ball and amenity inventory. Communicating to managers when inventories are low and need to be reordered.
• Responsible for transporting members and guests to and from Outdoor Pursuits. Transportation to and from member or guest homes, hotels, or the airport may be required at times.
• Responsible for cleaning and detailing the interior and exterior of company and member vehicles when requested.
• Upon closing make sure all carts are cleaned prior to parking in the cart barn and plugged into charging stations for the night.
• Assist with monthly inventory counts for items within the department.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays and a shift greater than eight (8) hours in length.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than four (4) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than 50 pounds.
