Position Summary:

The Bartender is responsible for working directly with our guests mixing and serving drink orders. The bartender is also responsible for verifying age requirements, knowing a variety of established recipes and managing the bars inventory as well as cleaning bar supplies throughout each working shift.

Your Role:

  • Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing and blending according to established recipes.
  • Provide a fun, energetic atmosphere.
  • Serve food and alcoholic beverages to guests in an efficient and speedy manner.
  • Answer menu questions.
  • Complete opening and closing duties including but not limited to restocking items, cleaning pavilion/bar areas, workstations. Inventory, etc.
  • Maintain an accurate count of, cut, and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments.
  • Ensure charges in the point of sale (POS) system are applied properly and accurately.
  • Make sure all food and beverage areas are operating in accordance with State and Federal Health Codes and State Liquor Laws
  • Maintains reasonable, regular, punctual attendance consistent with Company policies, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family Medical Leve Act (FMLA), and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Adapts to changing duties, as required, based on business needs.

Desirable requirements:

  • Bartending experience is preferred.
  • Leadership skills
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Have up to date TIPS certification preferred
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in varied weather conditions including heat, cold and rain.
  • Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
