Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Consistently communicate in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner with all personality styles, both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain professionalism on the retail sales floor by keeping orderly workspace, wearing nametag, complying with dress code and all other policies.
  • Accurately assess the needs of all customers and recommend a solution based upon the information obtained.
  • Promptly and accurately enter all customer data into all pertinent databases.
  • Note every account with accuracy after each customer interaction with specific details of the transaction.
  • Maneuver within a phone to ensure proper settings, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete the steps necessary to properly test each segment of the phone's operating capabilities.
  • Research an account or situation and make recommendation for a solution.
  • Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, percentages, and payment plans.
  • Accountable for all cash handling.
  • Communicate with customers in writing, using proper grammar.
  • Have a welcoming high energy personality that is solution focused for all customer needs.
  • Have a can-do attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the Customer Service Representative role.

Education and/or Experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Independently make creative, justifiable, on the spot decisions, which contribute positively to the retail store setting and Union Wireless business objective.
  • Self-starter that exhibits a high level of attention to accurate detail.
  • Dynamically prioritize tasks with proven time management.
  • Superior communications and relationship skills.
  • Possess character, integrity, commitment to excellence, positive energy, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and can interact with all levels of employees/customers in a professional manner.
