Accounting Clerk

The Cottages Assisted Living is looking for a full-time Accounting Clerk. The person in this position is responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to the accounting department within the company. This is not a remote position.

The Cottages provides care for our senior population to help them live safely and independently in a small home-like setting. Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Record accounts payable transactions
• Record accounts receivable transactions
• Record and reconcile all company credit cards
• Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving (or properly referring) accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
• Maintain filing
• Responsible for related duties as required or assigned
• Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained
• Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments, as required

Preferred (but not essential) Experience, Knowledge, Skills:

• QuickBooks
• iSolved
• Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
