Registered Nurse (RN)-Full Time

The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our Nursing team in our skilled nursing facility. We want to speak with naturally caring, empathetic RNs who are focused on providing the best quality of life possible for every patient in their care, with patience, courteousness and tactful interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors.

Now Hiring for Full Time positions on Days (7a-3:15p) and Evenings (3p-11:15p)

Position Overview:

RNs at Parker Jewish Institute are responsible for the coordination and implementation of resident care on assigned units, supervising CNAs and LPNs and providing outstanding patient-centered care. We put an emphasis on patient safety and staff work satisfaction. We have very high standards of care for patients and residents. Some of the key requirements:

  • Current and valid NYS RN license and current BLS certification
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; we hire newly licensed RNs!
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing
  • Team member - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork
  • Vaccinated against COVID-19
