Job Description
The Bank of New Glarus and Sugar River Bank Branches (BNG), an independent bank providing financial guidance and solutions, is seeking a Part-timeInvestment Administrative Assistant for their Monroe Branch location.  

Job Summary:
This position is responsible for opening new investment accounts and generating required paperwork, updating client information on necessary systems, contacting clients for appointments, scanning and uploading documents and files, ongoing general administrative and marketing support. The individual must maintain the integrity of the Investment Center’s database along with other special projects as assigned to support the image building and marketing of the Investment Center. The Administrative Assistant is accountable for supporting the Investment Center’s representatives by following established policies, operating procedures, and assisting the representatives with compliance related work for the Dealer-Broker and/or the Bank. They must also provide support to team members by doing routine filing and maintaining supplies. The individual must have a working understanding of the Bank’s Investment Center’s systems, which includes ClientWorks and Redtail, and general office suite software programs.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  1. Opening and maintaining client accounts and records, contacting clients for appointments, handling/depositing checks, scanning and uploading documents, transcribing client notes.
  2. General support duties which may include, but is not limited to answering the telephone, greeting customers and prospects, mailing new announcements and/or cards to customers, drafting respective letters, maintaining informational brochures, completing special mailings and other projects as assigned.
  3. Assist the Bank’s Marketing Coordinator in activities assigned.
  4. Accountable for maintaining the accuracy and usability of the Bank's Investment Center customer database integrity.  Work with team members for utilizing the information for their roles and supplies and coordinate data for marketing mailings.
  5. General administrative support work is part of this position and includes letter coordination; routine filing of documents and correspondence; follow-up phone calls on missing support documents; and other duties as assigned.
  6. All work completed for the Bank in the Investment Center and other areas of the Bank will follow established policies and operating procedures which are consistent with the Bank's, and Broker-Dealer’s, overall policies and operating objectives.
  7. Treat all customer inquiries, questions and complaints with respect and follow through. Maintain the Bank's goal to be accessible to the customer and always provide premium service.
  8. Continue to develop and enhance individual banking skills through in-house training, online training, trade association seminars/classes, and/or reading industry periodicals.
  9. Be a team player.  Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, co-workers and managers.
  10. Maintain a high level of ethical behavior within the banking profession.
  11. Be aware of and support the Bank's efforts in meeting the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).

  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma/GED or 3 years of related experience or training preferred. Prior general office work or customer service experience is preferred.
