Job Title: Janitorial Associate

Job Summary: Join our team as a Janitorial Associate and play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our buildings and midways. From sweeping floors to washing windows, you'll ensure our guests enjoy a pristine environment during their visit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Embrace custodial work with a focus on safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Handle minor maintenance tasks like replacing lights and ceiling tiles.
• Foster positive relationships with guests, vendors, clients, and fellow employees.
• Assist with locking and unlocking doors and ensuring building security.
• Perform floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming.
• Keep restrooms spotless using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Tackle food locations with mopping and sweeping duties.
• Assist with furniture movement and setup as needed.
• Keep our park grounds clean by picking up litter and debris.
• Communicate with maintenance for after-hour emergencies.
• Aid in loading and unloading delivery trucks.

• Be ready to lend a hand with any other tasks assigned by the Operations Manager or other supervisors.

Experience:

• To excel in this role, you'll need a high school diploma or GED.
• Trade school experience or equivalent training is a plus.
• Experience as a custodian, especially in an amusement park setting, is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• You'll need to stand for extended periods.
• Exhibit manual dexterity and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Agility to bend, stoop, walk, and reach overhead is essential.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is necessary, along with the ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.
• Good attendance and judgment, along with computer literacy, are important.

Safety:

• You should be comfortable using personal protective equipment.
• Expect to work in an amusement park environment, with moderate to loud noise levels.
