Aronimink Golf Club is seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our Members receive top-notch service during their dining experience. Your expertise in providing personalized recommendations and attentive service will contribute to creating memorable moments for each Member and their guests. You will be responsible for serving cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to Members and guests.

Bartender Functions:

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Greet Members in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking drink orders and ensuring accurate and prompt service.
• Engage with guests to provide recommendations, answer questions, and offer assistance in selecting beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies with the F&B Managers as needed and maintaining par levels to prevent shortages.
• Upsell menu items and promote special promotions or events to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
• Stay informed about current trends in the beverage industry, including new products and techniques, to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
• RAMP or TIPS Certified preferred, but not required.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Possess basic knowledge of service standards as well as etiquette.
• Possess good communication and guest relation skills
• Available to work weekends, evening shifts, and major holidays
• Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance at all times
• Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance
• Previous experience working as a bartender in a similar establishment preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of different types of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
