We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee our accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance. This position will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the accounting function.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist with financial audits.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Stay current with accounting regulations and industry trends, and recommend best practices to enhance financial performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
