\nThis department is the nursing float pool and provides support to the Med Surg tele units and ED holds\nNP Ratio: 1:6\nCommon Diagnosis/Treatment: Medical/Surgical- neuro, stroke, cardiac w/ tele, general medical, surigcal including total hip replacement, total knee replacement, bariatric, COPD, CHF, sepsis \nCharting: Cerner\nScrub Color: Any Color or Pattern\nAreas of Float Support: Med Surg, Med Surg Tele, ED hold, General;Ortho;\nSpecial Procedures: IV insertion, telemetry\nSelect Age Group of Patient Population: Adult;Geriatric;\nAirway/Respiratory by indicating types of treatment or care/support provided to patients within the unit: Breathing Treatments;Trach Care;\nCardiac/Circulatory :Blood/Blood Products Administration;Cooling / Warming Blanket;Tele Interpretation;\nApplicable Line Management/Equipment: Drains;Feeding Tubes;PICC/Central Lines;Triple Lumen Catheter;Wound Vac;\nMedications are titrated: Cardizem;Heparin\n

Required Qualifications
NY Lic In Hand
BLS & ACLS
Float to ED hold, Exp w/ trachs, cardizem and heparin drips, ortho MS exp.\n
