THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A Game Land Maintenance Worker 1 performs semi-skilled work and assists with other duties. For example, in this position you will assist with maintenance, repair, and construction of bridges, roads, parking areas, gates, posting signs, ranges, structures for birds and animals, and more. This position will also require you to assist with mowing, habitat management, and other duties as needed. This includes helping to develop and maintain hunter access and other trail and assisting with surveying. Find fulfillment and the opportunity to work outdoors with our team!

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment. 40 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of laboring experience using construction tools and equipment; or
  • One year of farming experience using agricultural tools and equipment; or
  • One year of construction equipment operation experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Special Requirements:

  • You must possess an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
  • All positions are required to obtain an active Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within one year of employment in this job.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
