Video Teleconference Technician

AITC seeks a Video Teleconference (VTC) Technician to operate, schedule, facilitate and maintain Unclassified and SECRET common-user VTC studios.

* Provide on-site video-teleconference (VTC) support services.

* Provide support for the scheduling and related coordination of the rooms, and for the daily upkeep and maintenance of IT equipment.

* Provide support and troubleshooting during bridge or VTC calls.

* Support cybersecurity and security directives.

* Schedule bridges as needed.

* Install/configure software and firmware updates as necessary.

* Assist in performing yearly reviews of the accreditation, or whenever changes/additions are made to the system.

* Work with meeting coordinators to provide technical advice and troubleshoot the systems as needed.

* Additional duties as assigned.

* 4-6 years practical field experience performing aforementioned responsibilities/duties

* High School Diploma

* ITIL Foundations within 6 months.

* SECRET Clearance

* Must be a US citizen.

* Able to work Overtime as required.

* Must be available to travel as required.

* One of the following:

o A+ CE

o CCNA-Security

o CND

o Network+ CE

o SSCP

* Experience with IP-based DISN Video Services Global (DVSG)

* Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

* Experience trouble shooting systems.

* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Ability to multi-task in a high-stress environment

* Predominantly indoors in normal office environment

* Must be able to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and reach

* Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English

* May require frequent computer use for several hours at a time

* Frequently work at fast pace with unscheduled interruptions

* Must have visual acuity

* Must be able to lift up-to 10 pounds
