About the Role:

We are seeking an attentive and detail-oriented Executive Assistant & Workplace (EAW) Partner to support Planet's growing staff. As the EAW Partner, you will further empower Planet's leaders in an active and engaging environment. The ideal candidate is eager to collaborate, results driven and believes that Planet's mission of helping life on Earth, can be demonstrated through their work.

This role combines assistant and coordination duties with concierge and workplace experience. The EAW Partner will work in a fast-paced environment, tackling barriers presented by its dynamic conditions while working independently and as part of a team.

This is a hybrid position, requiring onsite presence 3-4 days a week in our Arlington office.

Impact You'll Own:

Executive Assistant-

Three quarters of your time will be spent on Executive Assistant tasks supporting 3-4 leaders in cross-functional departments.

  • Executive scheduling and calendar management
  • Prioritize and organize tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Collaborate across teams to field requests and concerns
  • Expense submission and reporting
  • Partner with other Executive Operations Partners to schedule meetings and conferences
  • Plan large onsite meetings and/or create onsite meeting guides and agendas for leaders
  • Anticipate and meet executive and team needs in advance of meetings (ensure meetings room added, attendees confirmed, etc)
  • Arrange complex domestic and international travel (e.g. flights, hotels, public transportation)
  • Evaluate and assist in developing Executive Operations policy and procedure for improved workflow

Workplace Coordinator-

One fourth of your time will be spent on Workplace Coordinator tasks at our Arlington office, supporting day-to-day workplace needs and requests.

  • Front desk management- welcoming Planeteers, in-office visitors and ensuring all security procedures are strictly followed
  • Assist with/greet in-office visitors
  • Vendor management and delivery support
  • Support the workplace teammates to provide consistent and excellent service
  • Support general office cleanliness and health & safety guidelines
  • Restock office supplies and snacks
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies, swag, food & beverage
  • Plan happy hours and social events for the Arlington office
  • Manage JIRA tickets

What You Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience supporting VPs or Executives
  • G Suite proficiency
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across teams
  • Comfortability in delegating and giving instructions
  • Excellent follow-up capabilities and proven ability to progress team initiatives
  • Proven ability in managing competing requests
  • Experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a proven ability to tackle unique challenges presented by its dynamic conditions

Compensation:

The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is $89,200 - $111,500. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
