Production Support Coordinator - 3rd Shift Tugger

* Stocks and allocates assembly and kanban jobs.

* Properly documents all material transactions and moves finished goods to Shipping Department.

* Strictly manages the kanban cards and ensures the accuracy of the replenishment system.

* Stocks supermarkets as material is received and updates bin locations when necessary.

* Assists in setting up supermarkets.

* Replenishes empty line stock signals and kits low volume components as required.

* Assists with troubleshooting material flow and information flow problems.

* Performs the tugger route efficiently, accurately and reliably.

* Reconciles records or notifies others when material quantity, description or quality does not match recorded or intended levels.

* Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing the proper safety equipment and following procedures.

* Proactively identifies and takes corrective action or eliminates unsafe behaviors and conditions.

* Keeps work areas clean and organized for self and others daily.

This position will be on the 3rd Shift: Sunday night - Thursday night, 11pm - 7:30am

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

2+ years related product support experience

Direct industry related experience in assembly/test in a high technology manufacturing environment.

Able to work independently with limited supervisory guidance.

Prior knowledge of components and flow of material preferred

Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications. Perform semi-complex mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.

Able to interpret reports and use standard business software applications.

TYPICAL MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods of time. The team member is required to demonstrate manual dexterity and use hands to assemble parts and use test equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Also expected of the team member is regular attendance, the ability to work cooperatively and professionally with others. Job involves frequent lifting and may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
