DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you may work alone or assist a skilled worker with routine maintenance and construction tasks. This involves repairing buildings and facilities using various tools from carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other trades. You will also perform ground maintenance like mowing and weed cutting, and handle tasks such as cutting firewood, cleaning up litter, and moving materials. This will include operating and helping maintaining vehicles and equipment in the park.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Seasonal full-time employment without benefits. The season runs from March through November.
  • Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch
  • Weekends, holidays and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Condition of Employment:
  • This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
