About this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our team as the operations supervisor. The responsibilities of the operations supervisor include training and supervising employees, reducing operational costs, monitoring their department's compliance with operational policies, and keeping up-to-date with the progress of administrative duties.

To be successful as an operations supervisor, you should be result-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ultimately, a top-notch operations supervisor has excellent leadership, project management, and administrative management skills.

Operations Supervisor Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Overseeing inventory needs * Coming up with effective strategies to enhance the organization's financial health. * Coordinating/training employees to provide high-quality customer support. * Motivating and supervising employees. * Evaluating the performance of your assigned employees, delivering positive and/or negative feedback, and addressing any shortcomings. * Implementing departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. * Evaluating and reporting on department metrics. * Developing strategies to improve department metrics and performance. * Improving the work environment and operations of your department and the organization as a whole.

Operations Supervisor Requirements:

* A high school diploma or GED. * A bachelor's or associate's degree in operations management or business management may be advantageous. * Proven work experience in the relevant department. * Experience in implementing operational processes. * Good working knowledge of operational procedures and policies. * Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills. * Excellent leadership and decision-making skills. * Great communication and interpersonal skills. * Familiar with Lean continuous improvement manufacturing principles * Excellent interpersonal skills desired * Solid PC Computing skills (Excel, Access, Word)
