Bookkeeper

Robert Half has joined forces with a well-respected company to look for a team-oriented Bookkeeper for immediate hire. This Bookkeeper role is a great opportunity for candidates with prior A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting experience. This long-term contract / temporary to hire position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Produce financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Maintain and balance general ledger

- Outline Accounts Receivable invoices, reviewing payments received, and record deposits

- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

- Appease accounts by balancing entries

- Sustain collections of historical records by organizing documents- Strong familiarity with full charge bookkeeping

- General familiarity with QuickBooks

- Adeptness in Accounts Payable (AP)

- Quarterly Taxes experience highly desired

- Bookkeeping Functions experience

- Bookkeeping experience

- Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Annual Tax experience preferred

- Practical knowledge of payroll

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Previous experience using accounting software
