Robert Half is currently looking for an efficient Senior Accountant with an eye for accuracy to be a part of a terrific opportunity in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry. Operating as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Responsibilities


- Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP


- Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting


- Analyze financial results (benchmarks, trends, performance metrics)


- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations


- Complete other projects as required


- Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors


- Constantly improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process


- Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests


- Participate in various initiatives spanning multiple departments

- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Solid understanding of bank reconciliations

- Foundational knowledge in general ledger

- Fixed assets experience

- Microsoft Excel experience

- SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

- Vow to meet business deadlines

- Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

- Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

- Must be proficient and able to complete various financial reporting tasks

- Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports

- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- Knowledgeable of ERP systems

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
