Sunbelt isseeking to hire a Teacher for the Visually Impairedfor a full time position at a school district near Herndon, VA
TVI Job Details:
- Full-time
- 2-3 school sites
- PreK-12
Some roles and responsibilities within this Teacher of the Visually Impairedjob near Herndon, VA:
- Functional vision and learning assessments
- Interpret eye medical reports as they relate to educational environments
- Assist in developing IEPs with goals and modifications
- Provide classroom teachers with strategies to teach a VI student
- Consultation
- Provide modified materials to classroom teachers
- Monitor student progress
- Instruct students in using low vision devices
