Job Description
LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a reputable organization. The right candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes. The Senior Accountant will be working with the CFO and will be responsible for various aspects of financial management including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Assist in the development of the annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.
· Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to ensure financial goals are met.
· Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
· Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
