**Description**
We are hiring a Food Services Manager at the Fountains. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and dining room at The Fountains. Responsibilities include: budget management, staff management, and all aspects of food production, service, and storage. Seeking candidates with knowledge and experience in operation of a commercial kitchen. Must have strong values in team work, training, and providing quality product to aging adults. This position is a critical member of the Leadership Team at the Fountains. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility with their schedules when needed while maintaining and organization and structure within the team. Seeking individuals with a positive mindset and creative problem-solving skills.
This is a full-time position with a schedule of Sunday-Thursday, typically days and some evenings as required.
This position has a starting wage of $20 per hour.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Employee must have regular attendance/punctuality, be able to cooperate with others, and be completely honest. Other assigned duties include:
- Managing the kitchen, including ordering, stocking, food rotation, and ensuring safety and health compliance.
- Planning nutritious and appetizing menus and deliver meals that taste good, and calculating nutrition content.
- Assisting with food preparation and serving as necessary.
- Training staff in all aspects of food preparation, service, and storage.
- Managing staff functions, including scheduling, hiring, performance management, timesheet review, budgeting, dining room/customer service, and other staff management functions.
- Ensuring exemplary customer service in the dining room.
- Ensuring that food service costs in all areas are within budget parameters.
- Ordering food and kitchen supplies. Maintaining appropriate food inventory and rotation.
- Attend Resident Council Meetings.
- Work to implement resident choices and feedback into menu and service delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
