**Description**

The Driver will transport products in a safe manner and by following proper DOT regulations. Delivers products to customers on time while providing excellent customer service as the face of the company.

***Responsibilities:***

* Operates tractor-trailer combination in a safe and professional manner at all times

* Delivers products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service

* Pick up and delivery of all back hauls and/or freight as required

* Maintains DOT logs daily and complies with all other DOT procedures/regulations

* Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment to include washing tractor exterior and interior per accepted standards for Bunzl and applicable state laws.

***Requirements:***

* Must have a valid CDL Class A license with Doubles/Triples endorsements a plus

* Minimum 2 years experience in commercial transportation or a graduate of an accredited truck driving school

* Must have Haz/Mat endorsement or able to obtain within 60 days of employment

* Must possess a minimum of 1 year mountain driving experience in all weather conditions

* Ability to operate a tractor-trailer in a safe and efficient manner

* Possess knowledge of all applicable State and Federal DOT regulations

* Capacity to read and correctly interpret route manifests and invoices

* Ability and willingness to work varying routes as assigned by Supervisor

* Previous experience with Automatic On-Board Recording Devises (otherwise known as XATA and OmniTRACS)

* Must be able to travel up to 10 days at a time

* New equipment 2018 Freightliners with APUs, Automatic Chains & Refrigerators.

* Most trailers are less than 5 years old.

* Preloaded trailers from our warehouse / Keep for the backhauls. No touch freight!

Salary: $51,500 per year

Additional Compensation:

* $2500 Signing Bonus

* $40 Daily Per Diem

* Drivers safety bonus calculated monthly at .02 cents per mile up to 6000 miles and .05 cents per mile for every mile over 6000. The bonuses are paid quarterly.
