$300 BONUS after completion of 3 months at Healing Home!  

 

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Home Health Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals regain or improve their ability to perform everyday activities in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capabilities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, implementing a variety of interventions and techniques.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary for optimal outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families on strategies to enhance daily functioning and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the healthcare team, including Home Health Aides, Nurses, and Physical Therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Recommend and facilitate the acquisition of adaptive equipment and modifications to the home environment as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong clinical skills and proficiency in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
