We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Seattle. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in this setting, you will play a crucial role in helping early childhood and elementary students develop their communication skills and overcome speech and language challenges. You will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. - Salary: $70,000-$104,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth for early childhood and elementary students within the diverse learning program.
- Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP), tailored to each student’s areas of growth.
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to identified students within the diverse learning program.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other staff to meet the students' speech and/or language needs.
- Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans.
- Communicate regularly with caregivers, sharing updates and providing strategies for continued growth at home.
Qualifications:
- Washington DOH SLP License / ESA Certificate
- School experience is preferred
