Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activity Coordinator to join our team. The Activity Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning and implementing a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities for our adult clients. The goal is to create a stimulating and enjoyable atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities:

1. Activity Planning: Develop and implement a diverse range of engaging activities, taking into consideration the physical and cognitive abilities of participants.
2. Event Coordination: Organize special events, outings, and themed activities to enhance the overall experience for participants.
3. Assessment: Conduct assessments of clients' interests, abilities, and preferences to tailor activities to individual needs.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and other staff members to ensure coordinated and holistic care for participants.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of participant attendance, preferences, and progress in activity programs.
6. Communication: Effectively communicate with participants, families, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
7. Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during all activities, following proper protocols and guidelines.
8. Resource Management: Manage and maintain activity supplies, equipment, and resources efficiently.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, or a related field. ( perferred)
2. Proven experience in planning and implementing activities for adults, especially in a healthcare or medical day care setting.
3. Understanding of the physical and cognitive challenges faced by adults in a medical day care environment.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
   
6. Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to adult day care activities.
7. Mandarin speaking is REQUIRED
