Title of Position: Hotel General Manager

Job Responsibilities: The Hotel General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operating the hotel, from day-to-day staff management to guest and client relations. The Hotel General Manager provides leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service expectations, maximizing operations, overall guest satisfaction to maximize profitability. The Hotel General Manager must plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the operations of all Rooms Division, Sales, Food and Beverage, Catering and Conference Management, Engineering and Third-Party Vendors. The Hotel General Manager also evaluates changes in guest needs, competitive trends to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes to be made to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, to maintain market dominance and achieve exceptional financial returns.

Qualifications:

The Hotel General Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the Hotel operations.

A minimum of three years of relevant experience of a comparable property is necessary for The Hotel General Manager.

The Hotel General Manager must have a proven track record in the hotel industry demonstrating achievement of outstanding profit and guest service-related goals.

Bachelors degree in hospitality management or equivalent hotel experience in a related field is preferred for The Hotel General Manager.

The Hotel General Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
