Job: Bartender
Department: Taproom and Events
Reports to: Taproom Manager
Pay Status: Hourly wage plus tips
Location: Butler
We are seeking a skilled bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working in the service industry and providing exceptional customer service. As a bartender, you will be responsible for serving craft beer and alcoholic beverages and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and friendly atmosphere for guests
- Educate visitors about our products, company and culture
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages and filling growlers for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and taproom area
- Ensure that all drinks are served to the highest quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to all guests
- Check identification to ensure that all guests are of legal drinking age
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures
- Adhering to safety practices
- Maintaining vendor and customer relationships
- Perform tasks in the POS system (Arryved)

Requirements:- Preferred experience as a bartender
- Preferred knowledge of garnishing, and serving drinks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings and weekends
- Physical requirements able to assist in lifting and moving kegs up to 165 lbs
