HVAC Design Assistant

Falcon Heating & Air Conditioning has been in business for more than 35 years, specializing in heating and air conditioning, from the designing in new construction to installation and repairs.

We are offering a signing bonus, up to $10,000!

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Answer incoming communications from Production staff
• Collaborate with Foreman and Area Managers to provide day-to-day design and layout support
• Create and maintain equipment and specification databases
• Create and revise cutsheets
• Create as-built redlines
• Create foreman tickets
• Create house package orders and ensure their delivery
• Create pending material, cutsheets, and other job specific information as required
• Design mechanical HVAC for residential new construction homes
• Prepare shortlist order requests from field staff
• Perform Manual J’s and calculations
• Complete HVAC Designs in AutoCAD

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 yrs. experience in HVAC Construction
• 2 yrs. experience in mechanical design
• Proficient with AutoCAD software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
  

• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrate longevity in previous places of employment (no job jumping)
• Able to work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4 pm in the office.
