Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our team! This position supports our current operations in Columbus and Westerville!

What will you do? 

  • Checking the patient schedule 1 day in advance, marking patients with outstanding balances to be collected and verifying insurance coverage.
  • Reviewing chemo treatment estimates for updated dedc and out-of-pocket amounts.
  • Meeting with patients regarding insurance, insurance changes or billing questions.
  • Billing foundations for any balances due.
  • Primary person for Telehealth daily.
  • Back up coverage for the Front desk for employee PTO
  • Reviewing chemo orders and writing treatment estimates
  • Backup for Hospital consults

What will you need to be successful? 

  • Must have two years of experience working in a physician practice
  • Basic understanding of medical insurance and billing process  
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word; EMR experience helpful
  • Good communication and organizational skills
