Columbus Oncology is looking for a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our team! This position supports our current operations in Columbus and Westerville!

What will you do?
- Checking the patient schedule 1 day in advance, marking patients with outstanding balances to be collected and verifying insurance coverage.
- Reviewing chemo treatment estimates for updated dedc and out-of-pocket amounts.
- Meeting with patients regarding insurance, insurance changes or billing questions.
- Billing foundations for any balances due.
- Primary person for Telehealth daily.
- Back up coverage for the Front desk for employee PTO
- Reviewing chemo orders and writing treatment estimates
- Backup for Hospital consults
What will you need to be successful?
- Must have two years of experience working in a physician practice
- Basic understanding of medical insurance and billing process
- Proficiency in MS Office Word; EMR experience helpful
- Good communication and organizational skills
