Production Supervisory Management Internship

Description:

Ellsworth Cooperative Creamery-Menomonie is looking to hire an intern for a Production Supervisory Management position in the Cheese Make Room Department. This position will provide strong leadership to employees by fostering an environment of trust and open communication and developing talent for the future of the organization.

• Product flow chart from start to finish, including wastewater plant
• Learn the general day to day operations of a cheese production facility
• Become familiar with procedures and SOPs on the production floor
• Become familiar with scheduling employees
• Intern would work at Creamery-approved community events as part of their paid work work (Curd Fest, June Dairy Breakfasts)
• Participate in inspections & audits by 3rd parties when they occur, as an observer only, unless directed by QA to engage in conversation

Requirements:

Ideal Type of Degree/College Program/Major: Food Science/Ag Business Majors w/emphasis on Business Management; Junior Year Completion

*Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. F-1 visa holders with Optional Practical Training (OPT) who will require H-1B status, TNs, or current H-1B visa holders will not be considered. H1-B and green card sponsorship is not available for this position.
