Workers' Compensation Plaintiff Attorney

Join a prominent law firm with over 70 years of dedicated service. Ashcraft & Gerel is currently seeking a dynamic and aggressive Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our team in our DC or Fairfax, Virginia offices.

As a key member of our team, you will be provided with a high volume of cases, with an extremely competitive compensation model. We are looking for a candidate who is eager to make a difference and passionate about injured workers’ rights and helping the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a full caseload of Workers’ Comp. cases, from opening new files to creating litigation plans
• Autonomously manage a large volume of files, ensuring timely and efficient handling
• Conduct thorough reviews of incoming correspondence and medical records
• Engage in discovery processes, make court appearances, and actively participate in trials
• Maintain exceptional client interaction throughout the legal process
• Travel to various commissions, courts, and conferences as needed

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in handling Workers’ Compensation cases (2+ years desired)
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues
• Must be licensed in DC and/or VA (or able to waive in); Maryland licensed a plus.
