Welder

Must have a minimum of three (3) years verifiable experience as a journeyman welder

Must be capable of climbing ladders, scaffolds, platforms, catwalks, etc. and working in and from elevated places.

Must be able to perform all types of welding operations such as electric arc welding, MIG, TIG, acetylene gas welding, brazing, etc.

Must be capable of welding various types of ferrous and non-ferrous materials such as various alloys of iron, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, etc.

Must be proficient in welding various types of work such as structural, piping, tanks, bins, equipment frames and bases, etc.

Must know and be able to apply various welding techniques and practices in the performance of his work such as the use of proper welded joints, electrode type and size selection, fit-up and preparation for welding, etc.

Must know and apply basic principles of metal fabrication and metal working techniques.

Must be able to read and work from blueprints.

Must be willing to work any shift.

Must provide own hand tools per Labor Contract.

Must not have any medical or physical limitations, which would prevent work involving climbing, working from ladders and scaffolds, lifting heavy equipment.
