Pricing Clerk

Interact with Supermarket Chains, Purchasing, Marketing, Key Accounts Manager, and Accounting Department at EMD Sales Inc. The purpose is to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products, prices, deals, etc.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and general emails for Department as needed.
• Assist EMD Buyers in interacting with other food distributors, supermarket chains

• Request price books from EMD customers
• Prepare deals, price changes, and new items forms for the Departments a needed and submit them to EMD customers
• Update our system with deal information and run a report to make sure the data matches what was submitted to the customer.
• Prepare package/boxes for samples to be mailed.
• Find the item in the warehouse to take images and specs for the approval process
• Analyze invoices with discrepancies- Find the reason and follow up with the customer
• Review accuracy of price book vs. Retalix (EMD Software)
• Communicate price discrepancies to Key Account Managers and Customers.
• Follow up and maintain exclusion list in Retalix
• Inform Key Account Managers of items not on file and add items to the exclusion list
•  Follow up on discrepancies and find solutions
• Maintain logbook information accurately as needed.
• Update Retalix with new costs as per effective dates

Education and Experience

• high school diploma required
• Associate’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• 1 year of experience in a pricing and/or data entry role.
