Job Summary
Qnergy is a world leader in Methane Abatement solutions, powered by our highly reliable Remote Power Generators.
Our turn-key solutions provide clean air, reliable electrical power, and heat to critical remote infrastructure to major Oil & Gas producers. This position supports the pre-commissioning, installation, commissioning, yearly equipment maintenance, field operator training, and warranty commitments at customer locations throughout the US.


What you’ll be responsible for...
Creating a positive customer experience at various sites through installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Qnergy’s Instrument Air products and remote power generation. When not servicing equipment in the field, you may perform remote field support, system and component testing, system assembly and test, and write product and process documentation and lead training sessions. You will also need to communicate manufacturing and engineering issues discovered in the field and work as part of a cross-functional team to find solutions.

  • Knowledge of and hands-on experience implementing safe practices.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Exceptional ‘motoric’ and mechanical skills
  • Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good record keeping skills.
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and disciplined.
  • Basic knowledge of electronics.
  • Ability to lead and direct trainings for customers
  • Advantage to have experience servicing air compressors, HVAC, and/or other rotating power equipment.
  • Able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, plus verbal and written work instructions.
  • Organized and able to multi-task in a changing environment without supervision.
  • You have a professional presence, both online and in person, that allows you to build trust and nurture professional relationships.

Experience/education
Technical Diploma in an Engineering Discipline (i.e., Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, etc.)
Advantage to have any safety certifications such as First Aid, Safe land and/or other.
1+ year of field experience
Demonstrated ability to keep accurate records of activities, document new procedures and processes, and effectively communicate them to other cross-functional teams
Proven ability to work across a broad range of projects; work with minimal supervision both alone and in teams.


Environment and scheduling

Will be part of an on-call rotation requiring availability during non-standard hours, holidays, weekends.
Extensive travel on short notice for extended time periods may be required, including weekends and holidays
Environmental – outdoor exposure to varying weather conditions, including hot, cold, wet and arid conditions.
Work may be performed in areas where noise levels are elevated
The employee is regularly required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks, from handling small precision parts to lifting and carrying up to 80 pounds.


Physical effort and dexterity

Some lifting up to 80 pounds may be required
Regular use of a computer is required
Employee regularly stands or sits for up to 10 hours per shift
This position requires the employee to be present in the office or on the job site, attendance is essential


Visual acuity, hearing and speaking

Employee is regularly required to speak and hear clearly, both in person and by telephone
Regularly utilizes written and oral communication skills
Requires ability to read and interpret information and documents
Performs detailed work on multiple concurrent projects
