Order Picker/Transit Driver

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Order Picker/Transit Driver to pick products from the warehouse and delivering them to the factory store or other company locations. This position is primary stationed in the warehouse.

• The base hourly rate starts at $22.00 per hour

As an Order Picker/Transit Driver you will

• Monitor emails and the website for customer orders; pick orders from Warehouse upon receipt utilizing an RF Scanner
• Load products into carts, move carts into Transit/cargo van and safely drive Transit/cargo van to deliver products to their requested location
• Communicate with various departments to coordinate the delivery of various documents and products for internal purposes
• Operate various material handling equipment to pick and move products
• Unloading bulk returns & entering returns into the database
• Looking over returns & either cleaning them or disposing of the damaged product

• Work a varied schedule including days, nights, and weekends; work overtime as business demands including extended hours

• Train employees on different functions of the work area to ensure they can perform the tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity
• Follow company safety rules and keep designated work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Assist other departments as assigned
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualified Candidates will

• Have at least 1 year of professional driving experience
• Have at least 6 months of experience working in a warehouse
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years or older
• Have a clean driving record with a valid driver’s license
• Have great attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Be fluent in English
• Be authorized to work in the United States
