Position Overview:

Steel Point Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the development of overall technical solutions to solve complex business problems for organizations across the Federal Government. They will collaborate with senior leadership, and technical resources from across the company, to develop innovative solutions and facilitate the development of winning technical proposals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads the overall technical vision for solutions to solve business challenges related to enterprise IT systems, IT Infrastructure, business processes, legacy systems modernization, analytics, and digital transformation efforts.
• Leads the development of innovative solutions in support of major capture and proposal efforts, balancing these solutions against cost, schedule, function, quality, and other business considerations.
• Works closely with internal and external technical and management teams to evaluate and develop enterprise systems and software applications including evaluation, design, integration, and documentation.
• Develops and assesses systems architecture models and new products, including evaluating and recommending improvements to deliverables and proposed solutions.
• Gathers requirements and functional specifications and leads the design or modification of existing technology, architecture, and systems.
• Develops white papers, proposals, briefings and client facing presentations on topics related to digital transformation, systems architecture, business system modernization, software development and emerging technologies.

Job Qualifications:

• 10-12 years of hands-on technical experience
• Strong background in architecture with real-world experience designing and delivering large IT projects.
• Experience engaging with internal and external stakeholders during the pre-sales process, both on-site and remote, providing presentations, technical assistance, and solution guidance
• Must have demonstrated experience successfully contributing to Federal Government business development and proposal process.
• Working knowledge of many of the following areas, with deep expertise and experience in at least three: System Architecture, IT Operations, Business Process Optimization, Business System Modernization, ITIL Framework, Application Development, Agile Methodologies, Data Sciences, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Zero Trust Architecture
• Demonstrated experience evaluating, recommending, and developing proposed improvements for legacy systems.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge with cloud-based architecture (AWS + Azure), tools, databases, and application development.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required, Master's Degree preferred
• Microsoft Azure and/or AWS Cloud Solutions Architect certification preferred
