R&D Engineer

Navitas is seeking a motivated andtalented Entry-Level R&D Engineer with a Master’s Degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field to join our innovative team. This roleoffers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to apply their academicknowledge and skills in research and development to contribute to theadvancement of font encryption technology and data security solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· ResearchSupport: Assist senior R&D engineers and researchers in conductingliterature reviews, collecting data, and performing experiments to explore newfont encryption techniques, algorithms, and security protocols.

· Prototypingand Development: Participate in the design, implementation, and testing ofprototype solutions and proof-of-concept implementations under the guidance ofexperienced team members. Develop software tools, scripts, and utilities tosupport research activities and experimentation.

· DataAnalysis and Evaluation: Analyze experimental data, test results, andperformance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness, efficiency, and security ofdifferent font encryption methods and algorithms. Contribute insights andobservations to inform decision-making and direction of research efforts.

· AlgorithmOptimization: Collaborate with senior engineers to optimize cryptographicalgorithms, encoding schemes, and font rendering processes to enhanceperformance, minimize resource consumption, and improve compatibility acrossplatforms and devices.

· Documentationand Reporting: Document experimental procedures, research findings, andtechnical specifications in clear and organized formats. Prepare reports,presentations, and technical documentation to communicate results, insights,and recommendations to internal stakeholders.

· ContinuousLearning and Development: Stay abreast of the latest developments, trends, andbest practices in font encryption, cryptography, data security, and relatedfields. Actively participate in training, workshops, and professionaldevelopment activities to expand knowledge and skills.

· Collaborationand Teamwork: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, includingsoftware engineers, font designers, and quality assurance testers, tocoordinate research activities, share knowledge, and achieve projectmilestones.

Job Qualifications:

· Master’sdegree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, witha focus on cryptography, information security, or data science.

· Strongacademic background in algorithms, data structures, and computer programming,with proficiency in languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or similarlanguages.

· Knowledgeof cryptographic principles, encryption algorithms, and secure communicationprotocols.

· Familiaritywith font rendering engines, typography, and font file formats (e.g., TrueType,OpenType) is a plus.

· Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply logicalthinking and scientific methods to research and experimentation.

· Effectivecommunication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulateideas, present findings, and collaborate with team members.

· Eagernessto learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with afocus on innovation and excellence.
