AT&T has an opening for a **Network Operations Manager** to support the National Security Sector. The Network Operations Manager oversees CONUS & OCONUS teams of network technicians and administrators providing guidance and support via documented processes for Network Operations Center (NOC) Incident and Problem Management, Service Fulfillment, and execution of Network Connectivity Service requests. This position works closely with program leadership, customer leadership, and representatives of other IT service providers under the customers IT ecosystem. This role requires 25 percent travel.


The job duties of the Network Operations Manager include:


Manage and direct large Network Operations teams geographically dispersed focused on resolving Incidents, problems, and service fulfillment requests within Service Level Objectives (SLOs).


Drive Operations team members to improve delivery of service through continuous service improvements.


Leads and participates in the assessment and selection of network performance and management tools/systems for existing and new network technologies and services for Operations team to benefit from.


Routinely conduct site visits, meeting with all Operations team members and customers to promote program and Operations process improvements.


Facilitate coordination among and between internal and external stakeholders in support of Operations and Engineering escalations and transitions.


Support and manage software and hardware tools to identify and diagnose complex problems and factors affecting network performance.


Assist with troubleshooting network systems when necessary and make improvements to the customers network.


Support the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager by providing status of critical and high impact network events, weekly/monthly network data analysis trends, and detailed briefings to support strategic Operations decision making.


Developing, updating, and maintaining the program operations organizational structure, roles and responsibilities, workflows, processes, process improvement strategy, and associated documentation.


Establish and maintain interoperability with service providers for multi-source/multi-service integration and management of direct implement network connectivity service requests.


Direct and lead the Operations team to achieve performance goals and meet SLO and Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics.


Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports through performance evaluations, one-on-one coaching, and training.


Ensure that Operations staffing levels can meet workload demands by hiring, recruiting, onboarding, training, and retaining personnel.


Perform additional duties as assigned in support of network operations and customers mission.


Required Clearance:


TS/SCI with poly (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)


Required Qualifications:


The candidate must have 16 years of experience that can be a combination of work history and education. This equates to a doctorate and 8 years of experience, OR masters and 10 years, OR bachelors and 12 years, OR an associates and 14 years, OR HS and 16 years. Required qualifications include the following:


Ability to travel 25 percent of the time.


Experience managing large network operations teams geographically dispersed (180+ personnel).


Experience with deployment and management of ITIL Service Management Lifecycle Stages and Processes.


Working in a team environment within a professional office setting.


Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail, and multitasking.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills and ability to manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.


Working knowledge of Service Now or similar ITSM, and Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.


Desired Qualifications:


Experience with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and with implementing Cisco Switches and Routers, Juniper Routers and Firewalls.


Our Network Operations Manager's earn between $160,000 -190,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
