Grand Fitness is hiring a talented Regional Manager professional to join our team. If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Planet Fitness is a great place to grow your career. The Regional Manager will be responsible for the oversight of gym operations in our Northern CA region to ensure an exceptional “Judgement Free” member experience as well as a financially successful market of 6 to 8 clubs. The Regional Manager will be accountable for leading a team of General Managers and their employees in a positive, motivating manner with continuous assistance in employee training and development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Uphold the Planet Fitness “experience” for your Region.

· Manage the clubs’ recruitment, hiring, training, and develop for a high performing club staff. Maintain and develop leadership teams throughout your region.

· Ensure each club has a welcoming atmosphere for all members, prospective members, and guests and ensure staff follows superior customer service guidelines.

· Enforcing all PF policies and procedures. Ensure safety of employees, members, and club property.

· Use sales skills and training to drive club sales including memberships and revenue. Communicate club level goals and inspire the teams to strive to achieve them.

· Lead and shape culture within your Region, in line with our core values.

· Identify areas of opportunity in the clubs and develop action plans to make the needed improvements for each club.

· Develop SMART plans to set new levels of expectations for your top performers or further develop skill sets needed for underperforming Managers.

· Ensure all clubs are following the expected hours of operation for prompt opening/closing of gyms.

· Ensuring clubs are more than ready for monthly clubs’ inspections and unannounced corporate visits.

· Conduct monthly audits to validate performance.

· Ensuring the management teams are aware of and trained on all marketing promotions and procedures.

· Track club and employee statistics and reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly & annually). Ensure success in various metrics for each club, including but not limited to: revenue targets, membership, billing, merchandise sales, timely facility and equipment repairs, cleaning standards, customer feedback, payroll and budget, inventory levels.

· Night/Weekend visits and or events as needed.


Starting at $70,000/year, plus quarterly bonus range from 0 - 50% of salary based on regions results. Full benefit package including Health, Dental, Life, Vision, and 401K plan.

Requirements:

Qualifications/Requirements

· Superior customer service skills, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry.

· 2-3 years Multi-Unit management experience required.

· Exceptional leadership, diplomacy, communication and listening skills.

· Microsoft Suite (Excel proficiency required), data and business IT software

· Hard working, enthusiastic, and energetic!

· Experience coaching and counseling staff.

· Current CPR certification required.

· High school diploma/GED equivalent required.

· College degree preferred.

· Bilingual for specific markets needed.

-Able to travel to clubs in region daily.

· Must be 18 years of age or older.

Physical Demands

· Continual standing and walking during shift.

· Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift.

· Must be able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs.

· Will occasionally encounter toxic chemicals during shift.
