About this job

Essential Responsibilities: Manage and lead Union by providing coaching, development, and performance/talent management. Follow contractual requirements and maintain 100% compliance across the program. Achieve service excellence through internal field services teams and 3rd party vendors; maintain OKRs, KPIs, and process for sustaining service excellence and partner with Director of NYC Field Services as necessary to identify interventions and propose solutions. Contribute towards department P&L accuracy and tracking, which includes forecasting Champions change management and drive a customer focused culture. Achieves strategic long and short-term goals (people, process, technology) as defined by Director of NYC Field Services, and inspire direct teams to follow and activate. Provide leadership to improve performance and engagement through assessment, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating. Analyze operational and process issues; track data to measure defects and make recommendations for cost efficiencies and operational enhancements. Identify, implement, and manage continuous improvement through the application of Six Sigma, Lean, or other similar methodologies in partnership with Director of NYC Field Services Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Master Electrician experience and certification. Union experience a strong plus. No physical work permitted; strictly oversee, delegation, inspection, administrative and analysis. 3+ years of experience in field services, service operations, supply chain, or related field with effective leadership ranging from work direction, motivation, coaching/feedback, and developing assigned staff. Excellent negotiation, problem-resolution, organizational and time management skills, takes the initiative, demonstrates a strong sense of urgency/follow-up, and carries multiple projects. Statistical/analytical skills and shows initiative to get ahead of potential out-of-compliance processes. Proven track record of building and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships. Demonstrated business process engineering/re-engineering experience using Six Sigma, Lean or other formal process improvement methodologies. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including a collaborative management style. Salary and Schedule: $41 to $61/hr indefinite contract role with potential for permanent placement Monday thru Friday 6am to 2pm (flexibility with hours - can be discussed) In office and in the field 60/40. Office is based in Staten Island but field service is within all 5 boroughs.
