About this job
The Schuylkill Valley School District has an anticipated vacancy for a Full-Time Food Services Supervisor at the middle school. Normal Hours of work are 6:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. but may vary. Minimum rate of pay is $18.38/hour. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of staff, safe, efficient, and effective food preparation, and maintaining sanitized equipment and facilities as well as maintaining accurate production records. Three years of food preparation experience in a large-scale institutional environment using standardized recipes, ServSafe certification, knowledge of applicable district, local, state and federal rules and regulations related to the food service industry, and knowledge of basic nutrition, menu analysis, safe food handling procedures, sanitation, care and use of institutional food service equipment, demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others, and acceptable record of attendance are required.
