Section 1: Position Summary Responsible for the administration of qualified retirement plan and IRA accounts; provide excellent customer service to both internal and external clients; process requested account transactions focusing on accuracy and SLA's; and ensure that applicable compliance requirements are met and policies and procedures are followed. Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities Timely and accurately process contributions and distributions Review transactions to confirm documentation is complete and the transaction complies with applicable policies Effectively perform all aspects of IRA administration Provide phone/email/in person contact with clients, advisors, referrals, banks, investment firms Resolve internal and external client issues by responding professionally to all correspondence within communicated and departmental SLA's Provide management reporting as required. Perform end of month/quarter tasks and reports Research and resolve discrepancies in documents and transactions Research asset documentation Establish and terminate Automatic Rollover IRAs and handle participant and TPA calls Resolve internal and external client issues by responding professionally to all correspondence within communicated and departmental standard timeframes. Participate in audit or quality control activities Establish and terminate Automatic Rollover IRAs and handle participant and TPA calls May process/review 1099R/5498 tax reporting including corrective reporting and electronic filing of reports to IRS Open/Process incoming overnight packages Assist with opening and closing of client accounts Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.
