**sUAS Pilot & Field Technician**

Periscope Aviation is hiring **sUAS Pilot & Field Technician** to support our Unmanned Aerial Vehicle platforms. This positions responsibilities will be hands on and on-site in **Leesburg, VA**. There will also be a need to travel to various sites for hands-on interaction with products in development and field support. **Responsibilities**
+ Operate UAVs internally for test/evaluation as well as in a professional environment on military ranges
+ Troubleshoot UAVs & flight tuning in the field
+ Plan and analyze flight test data
+ All UAS responsibilities associated with operating, maintaining, and training UAS (ie: assembly, power on, storing, packaging).
+ Research and integration of UAV components
+ Create and maintain UAV system architecture
**Qualifications**
+ At least 5 years of experience in a related field
+ Design, development, testing, or operating experience with UAVs
+ Bachelors Degree in related field
+ Interest in remote/radio control vehicles
+ Organize information to summarize test plans/results
+ Ability to take on tasks outside of job description
+ Ability to work as part of a small, fast-paced team
+ Ability to travel to support field testing and training
+ Military experience a plus
**Security Clearance / Background Investigation**
+ This position requires the ability to obtain a federal government security clearance. The employee in this role will eventually visit government facilities for demonstrations, where a clearance may be needed to access those facilities. A clearance is not necessary to start working in this job, or to be considered as a candidate.
